TAPIOCA SOUP

1 quart of white stock;
2 cloves;
Salt, pepper;
2 tablespoonfuls of tapioca;
1 onion;
1 gill of cream milk.

Boil the stock with the onion and cloves. When boiling sprinkle in the tapioca. Boil for 20 minutes, or until the tapioca looks clear. Add the cream and stir until almost boiling. Season and serve.
For 4 or 5 persons. Time - 20 minutes.
